Tuborg unveils Bold New Visual Identity

As part of Carlsberg Group’s focus on driving consumer relevance and distinctiveness across its global beer portfolio, Tuborg is stepping into a new era. The brand launched new identity: a bold, dynamic design system that amplifies the brand’s energy and modernity while staying true to its iconic roots.

The new visual identity enables the Tuborg to win in key markets, drive premiumization, and capture the attention of younger, experience-driven consumers. It’s a powerful lever to reinforce Tuborg’s position as a leading international beer brand and unlock new opportunities across channels and occasions.

Tuborg has always been synonymous with music, creativity, and vibrant social experiences. This evolution takes that spirit to the next level. The new identity introduces a cleaner, more contemporary look with striking typography, simplified structures, and a refreshed colour palette that radiates confidence and optimism.

“Tuborg has always been about more than beer, it’s about creating moments that matter,” said Anna Katrine Drumm-Hakim, Global Brand Director for Tuborg. 

“Our new Brand Identity reflects that ambition. It’s fresh, modern, and designed to resonate with consumers who seek individuality and excitement. This is a big step in strengthening Tuborg’s global presence and relevance.”

The rollout will take place throughout 2026, starting with priority markets in Asia and Europe, followed by global implementation across the year. Consumers will soon experience Tuborg’s new look in-store, online, and at events.

Carlsberg inaugurates New Can Line at Mysuru Brewery

Carlsberg India recently inaugurated a new can line at its Mysuru Brewery, strengthening production capabilities. This milestone reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to Karnataka, following its ₹350 crore expansion pledge made at Invest Karnataka 2025 to further expand the Mysuru facility.

The new can line has been established with an investment of ₹100 crore and offers a production capacity of 22,000 cans per hour (CPH). The addition significantly enhances the brewery’s ability to meet growing consumer demand and forms an integral part of Carlsberg India’s broader expansion strategy across the country.

Commenting on the development, Nilesh Patel, Managing Director, Carlsberg India, said, “Our continued investment in Karnataka underscores our long-term commitment to the state. Through this expansion, we aim to sustainably produce international-quality beers for consumers, contribute to state excise revenues, and generate additional direct and indirect employment opportunities for the local community.”

Speaking at the inauguration, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), said, “We appreciate Carlsberg India’s continued investments of ₹350 crore in Karnataka, particularly in Mysuru, and their impactful work that contributes positively to society. These efforts reflect the company’s strong confidence in the state’s industrial ecosystem. We encourage more companies to step forward with increased local investments and job creation, especially in Mysuru, to support inclusive and sustainable regional development.”

Located in Nanjangud taluk, the Mysuru brewery is spread across 28 acres and manufactures Carlsberg and Tuborg brands. The facility reflects Carlsberg India’s strong focus on responsible and sustainable brewing practices. It operates biomass boilers using husk and biogas as fuel. Additionally, 85% of the brewery’s power requirements are met through solar energy. Carlsberg India is also actively engaged in water sustainability initiatives in Karnataka, working in partnership with WaterAid and local communities to promote responsible water stewardship.

Carlsberg India enters wheat beer segment with Tuborg White

Carlsberg India enters the premium wheat beer segment with the launch of Tuborg White. This new Tuborg offering is beyond any ordinary lager. It is a cloudy drink with a smooth refreshing taste with a subtle fruity twist. It is yet another premium beer from the portfolio of Carlsberg India that provides consumers who are seeking beverages with a new taste profile that can be enjoyed with friends and family.

Over the last decade, the wheat beer segment has developed wide acceptance in India with a loyal base of consumers. There is an opportunity to expand this segment with the right liquid providing a consistent refreshing taste.

The recipe for this brew was developed specifically to appeal to Indian consumers by expert brewers in R&D center in Copenhagen, Denmark. It delivers the consistency and perfection that Tuborg is known and loved for across the world. The new brew has been launched across Maharashtra in 500ML Can and 330ML glass bottles with an attractive launch price of `170 and `140 respectively. This is the most premium priced offering in the Tuborg portfolio and in line with the choice of ingredients and its standout packaging.

Tuborg White is currently available in Maharashtra and will soon be launched in other states in the coming months.
