Pernod unveil Chivas 25 year old in the Middle East

As the quest for the coolest whisky goes on, Pernod Ricard unveils Chivas Regal 25 years old in the Middle East, after launching it globally a month ago.

Chivas Regal is the most "prestigious"* premium blended Scotch whisky in the world and a true global brand, with annual record sales of around 4.1 million nine litre cases in 2006-2007 across all continents.

The founders of Chivas Brothers, James and John Chivas, strongly believed that the power of a whisky lay in achieving a consistently high standard. They began to create consistently smooth, high quality blended whiskies and thus were one of the true pioneers of the art of blending. The exceptional standards they established were carried forward by others and near the turn of the 20th Century, Chivas Brothers rewrote distilling history by creating a premium blend called Chivas Regal.
